At Padstow North Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Robotics
Our robotics program empowers students to design, build and program robots, providing hands on experience in engineering, coding and teamwork. We also offer a before school code club which provides an opportunity for students to collaborate on projects and develop computational thinking skills.
Basketball Club
Run during lunch time, basketball club offers students a chance to learn and improve their basketball skills. Whether they a just starting out or a seasoned player, basketball club is a welcoming space to practice shooting, dribbling and game strategies.
Bucket Drumming
A fun and exciting club that allows students to tap into their musical talents by creating beats and rhythms with using a variety of percussion techniques. It is a great way to explore music, improve coordination and enjoy the catchy beats.
Gardening Club
Students have the opportunity to join our Gardening Club, where they learn to care for plants, grow vegetables and herbs, and take pride in maintaining the gardens. It is a hands on experience that encourages teamwork, responsibility and a love of nature.
PSSA Sporting Opportunities
Students have the chance to represent our school in PSSA competitions. These weekly inter-school games give students the opportunity to develop their skills, work as a team and enjoy friendly competition across a range of sports.
