Community Communication with our School
Connection and positive interactions between our family community and teachers and school staff is one of the most important relationships we continuously nurture at Padstow North Public School.
The Wellbeing Framework tells us that when students feel connection between home and school, they are more likely to succeed at school and therefore thrive in their pursuits in both school and beyond.
At Padstow North Public School our goal is to provide good communication, with a clear path of who to contact and when.
Class Dojo
At PNPS, we utilize the ClassDojo app to facilitate the sharing of class learning and to keep our families well-informed about events and important information. The parent messaging feature in ClassDojo is primarily intended for providing brief updates and notifications. For more detailed messages or explanations, we strongly encourage scheduling face-to-face meetings or via a phone call. These methods allow for more comprehensive discussions, ensuring clear and effective communication, while minimizing the risk of miscommunication.
To maintain an efficient communication process, we kindly request that all messages be sent during weekdays (Monday to Friday) between 8 am and 5 pm. Our staff will promptly respond within this timeframe, prioritizing timely and productive interactions.
